A sedentary lifestyle can damage your health more than you think. Here are a few health problems that are caused by reduced physical activity. Inactivity is often seen as an enemy of all beings, some people spend most of the day at home, while most can’t lose weight. But this lifestyle can have serious consequences beyond the issue of extra weight, it can bring real health problems.

A recent study shows how important is movement for our health. The results show that only one hour a week for physical activity is enough to extend our life with up to six years.

Lack of physical activity not only affects our body, but it has an emotional impact. Exercise increases the hormone that gives us a good feeling of relaxation. Menopausal women are more likely to suffer from osteoporosis, so it is recommended to get at least three times a week 30 minutes of walk.


Studies show that physical activity may be more effective in treating depression and effectiveness of this method can surpass even that based medication. This is because an active lifestyle stimulates brain functions and affect emotions, such as happens in case of anxiety. Inactivity increases the risk of depression.
