Natural Treatments For Blackheads

  • by

To understand the complex problem of blackheads, you need to understand what they are and why they appear on our skin. Blackheads are a form of acne caused by excess secretion of sebum, which is pumped into the pores of the sebaceous glands. Bacteria on the skin and the environment, in combination with excess sebum creates those nasty points, or dark yellow or even “black”, their color intensifies as the oxidized sebum.

Blackheads tend to appear all over the face, neck or back, usually in places where the pores are larger and open. In any case, we see most often on the nose (giving appearance of strawberry) and chin.

There are many products on the market that promise you the secret of eternal beauty, but most cover only the black points, or improve short-term problem. Why not try and produced a home-made cure, which can help to keep the situation under control, if not permanently eliminate the problem of blackheads.

Treatments for blackheads – fruit based:

To open the pores and deep clean your skin, try masks that the mother nature has to offer you for oily skin and blackheads. Try a mask on the basis of ripe apricot: Remove the skin and pit of the fruit and mash them with a fork. Apply the paste on face, focusing on sensitive areas and let it act for 30 minutes. Remove the mask using a soft towel and rinse your face with chamomile infusion. This mask has a tonic effect and allows easy removal of blackheads.

Another natural mask is based on apple: Cut the apple into small pieces and boil in 1 cup of sweet milk until tender, then take them through the blender to get a consistent mix. Apply on clean skin and remove after 30 minutes. So you can rinse with warm milk and chamomile infusion.

Natural Treatments For Blackheads

Open pores and exfoliates:

These are two of the basic rules for treatment “at home” black spots. Natural methods for opening the pores are very simple: boil 2 to 3 cups of water and make an infusion of chamomile, levente or jasmine. Lean over the vessel containing the infusion, to expose yourself to the emanated vapors. For a stronger effect, holding a towel over his head to create a mini-sauna for skin. Okay, we move to step two.

Once the pores were open, you can start to collect them from the base, using gauze pads. Do not use nails, that can make deeper cuts or skin wounds. Just try to remove a black spot, try to not mutilate yourself. A scrub area (appearance of blackheads prone areas) with natural substances, once a week, is helping more than squeezing blackheads. You can use corn flour, plain or mixed with a tablespoon of olive oil and warm milk. Make an easy scrub and rinse the area well, you will immediately feel the difference.

Treatments for the prevention of blackheads

The only way to prevent blackheads and oily skin is to continue fighting and trying to keep the pores closed. You can use lemon juice, simple, applied directly to the skin every night before bed. In the morning, rinse thoroughly with cold water (hot water opens the pores rather than close them). You can do a mask based on lemon juice and 1 white egg mixed with a tablespoon of alcohol. Allow to act for 30 minutes and repeat again with cold water. Masks help to reduce the inhibition of secretion of sebum and blackheads.

Blackheads treatment should be taken very seriously, not just a problem of “aesthetics”, as the black dot becomes more acute, it will completely block the secretion of sebum and can cause strong skin rashes.
